Swooning over this Madeleine Vionnet silk gown, circa 1929/30. The front is sheer perfection with a full bow emphasizing the hips and fluttering godets. And the back (oh the back!!) is a thing of beauty with rows of cascading ruffles and a dramatic sash at the neck which trails to the hem. Magnificent!
